I have made an overview for all era's where you can see what are the RP cost for only the mandatory research items.
In the A/B routes you see the minimum costs. At the bottom of the overview you can see total cost of RP for each train and RP cost per addition
This can be helpfull to plan which trains you want to research and how to spend your (extra) RP

I thought it might be usefull to also post how much RP the lab will produce in points per day and per era to help with the choices to make..
note: for speed servers the amount of points per era is the same, just the time it takes to research a point is halved (like the era duration)
the points per day is double of what it is on a normal server (because the era's are half as long)
I see on your images of the locomotives per era that there are some production series i have never seen before. how did you get those. like how did you get the pennsylvania electric locomotive?
These production series are for First Class members. Its a reward for long term players. The criteria arent clear. Ist a combination of time (rounds played) and money (Gold bought). Invest enough money and you get first class in your first round played. Play enough rounds and you get first class wihout investing money.
I remember reaching First Class by a complete surprise: I had multiple game worlds running and didn't make any gold purchases during that time.
So I can't confirm that Gold purchases has any effect - only criteria I know of is 'keep playing actively'. I have never heard of a case where someone got to First Class during / after finishing the first round.
One mistake in the picture for era 6. In the boxes At the bottom Pegasus and Phoenix are switched.
its wierd because the first time i played railnationw as like 5 or 6 years ago. i havent played it in 4 years. also speaking of old days. am i the only one missing the feature where if you where in your station you could see your trains drive through them?

Found some more mistakes.
Era 1:
Rhinoceros: Reliablity 6 instead of 7 RP
Donkey: Second traktive force upgrade missing 8
Falcon: Second acceleration upgrade missing 7
Era 2:
Elephant: Reliability 12 instead of 6

Nope, I miss that too. The slow increase in what types of engines came by and the extra ambiance in the station view were things I didn't appreciate at the time, but now coming back after 3 or 4 or so years I really miss them.
