# How are cities grouped for City Competition

• Does anyone know how the cities are grouped for City Competitions?

It does not seem to be random, but I can't figure out how it is done.

• There is a simple formula to find your

competitors:

(City level city / average city level of all cities) * (number of connected players city / average number of connected players)

The results of each city will be sorted from high to low.

Then you put together groups of five citys and thats it.

Maybe Samisu can answer this question....?

• Nope, I don't have the formula but as hilti and Gustav wrote, city level and number of connected players are the deciding factors so that top 1 city would not compete against a ghost town

Seems to make sense.....are you sure you don't have it? lol

• Gustave wrote already the formula:

(City level city / average city level of all cities) * (number of connected players city / average number of connected players)

• So level 25 city with 60 connected will play against a level 26 with 70, a level 29 with 85 and a level 30 with 70 plus another city i can't recall
