how do you people level up their characters

That actually doesn't happen IN game. The levelling itself happens in the lobby. If you click Career in the top of the screen, you can see a lot of achievements. If you reach an achievement IN game, AND then collect the achievement in the lobby, you're awarded career points. E.g. if you collect 30 medals you get 10 points. When you have enough points your career levels

I do not see Career at the top of my screen and have no clue how to find the Lobby! Can anyone help?
