Several times a week I have a problem with the game. I can't get into the game servers.
And when the problem is bigger - the game forum also opens very slowly.
The ping to the game servers rises to> 60 ms.
Packages are starting to get lost ...
and everything breaks!
I have no visible problems with other websites.
Looks like a package loss problem again on the telia hops.
Not really anything we can do about it at the moment but we are preparing some server-side changes that might improve your situation:
Out of curiosity - do you have the same issues on the PTR servers?
There is no visible difference.

Ok, so both servers route via or to Frankfurt so there it seems to get slower. But to be hones, 55ms is not that bad.
Unfortunately we cannot see the package loss in those traceroutes. And the looking glas doesn't work for PTR servers.
I will look into the matter.
Now the ping has become almost normal.
And immediately everything in my game works again!
That's why I know that ping for me is a signal of big invisible problems.
Although the problem is not in the delay itself.
Our game doesn't cope well with package loss, we already talked about that fact a couple of weeks ago. To compensate for that we would have to overhaul a major part of the network- and server structures.
It might help to use a DNS, for example that from Google. You might get routed a different path.
Probably won't do much for PTR servers, as they are currently hosted in Frankfurt and the problematic patch seems to be in Frankfurt. But the live servers are near Cologne, as you can see from the MTR. So that might help you in such situations.
Move to Germany they say....it's totally stable there....

Well I live in czech an my internet is stable also with the limits of 20Mb/s up- and down-load
I have a lag problem... It's because the new HTML... still waiting to fix it... but it isn't anything bad

And I know.. I am not the only person in Germany struggling with low connectivity.
You are not the only one. The issue of packet loss, freezing the game or unable to log in, or loading bars hanging at 50% or 0% is quite common.
Although recently it has been stable for me, I had many many issues with this before (based in USA but the distance and teh speed is not the problem).
The problem is indeed bad Telia hops.There is nothing you can do about it. But RN / Travian can. They have the service level agreement with Telia and can follow up if there is a big problem with their customers (us) not being able to reach the RN servers.
So, the issue is really about how to get RN to get Travian to get Telia to get their act together
