As far as I see it, the only option that would be a good solution for every country would be individual times for each server depending on the countrys timezone.
I am not really sure if this is something we can do or if it would require too much time for us to set this up and way more important monitor it to make sure everything goes as planned.
There might also be the possibility that the RN servers are all in one system similar to the forum, where when you change something you change it for all servers.
I'll ask some teammembers about that.

Thank you for looking into this. I think maybe having 3 different time zones (GMT 0, GMT+8, GMT-8 ) would already be a great improvement over current situation if this is easier for the devs while opening up much more variety for players worldwide.

And just like Spoor mentioned, each server has different "recalc time", and it isn't even consistent within a single server which could change within a round when an update or crash happens. And RN runs with such inconsistency for always with no problem.

It's weird that the only consistent fixed time is the daily prestige reset time which brings no convenience but only unfairness.

Western Europe can indeed stay up for 1-2 more hours, but I think they won't do that on daily base, especially when they have to get up early for work/school or whatever every day. The other way around for the estern Russian players, they won't get up 1-2 hours earlier every day to be online at their daily prestige reset.

The Japanese server can't be found anymore for a while now, probably due to few players.

Yup, that's the tragedy for non-American players....

And I do see why Japanese players doesn't support their "home" server enough for it to be sustained.

When the prestige reset time is not adjusted, it's just another "American server" which still favors Americans but with a Japanese flag and some translation on it...

Yes, just about what you say. West Europe could probably stay up 1-2hr late, Eastern Asia could probably wake up 1-2hr early to catch up with this, while East Europe and West Asia just have to wake up at something like 3:00 or 5:00 am which is definitely not how people normally live. While Americas could just easily do this in their afternoon tea or dinner time.

It's a bit sad to see that even "European Server" or "Asian Server" (Well there was a Japan server before but closed I guess) still uses the same time which favors Americans and (ironically) put their target customer at the biggest disadvantage.

A Russian Server which still forces Russians to wake up at 4am to compete for the top. Oh my.

I have posted this with similar idea.... it's so unfair that West Europe and USA have a easy access to daily reset prestige hunts while Eastern Europe and Asia have to wait up at (possibly very) unfavorable time to be as competitive as them.

I think this one correspond to the "xxx has helped you out on collecting train station bonus" message in the System thread.

Doesn't look related to the popup I mentioned.

At least the message toggle one has been turned off by me long ago, but the popup still shows up.

Fixing bugs and coming up with new engine skins or new features, even new scenarios or special events do not compete with each other. Bugs will still be fixed while other people can paint new engines for example.

It's unfortunate to hear you have issues with the performance or other "surprises" even after the XXL update was implemented. Thank you for contacting the game support and for sending details of the bugs you find. This will help.

    Even after?

There are "new surprises" that weren't before the XXL update, and the "old surprises" are still there.

Sorry but I just don't see effort spent on fixing what is really critical at all. If there's no "occupying issue" then it's just ignored.

Unfortunate, as I expected. How about name the next update "Even more unfortunate update". Contents are probably sth like changing the asso widget from blue to yellow. Maybe make them animated too to add more lag and makes game crash even twice as fast.

The trains should be animated too. This should make it enough to crash per delivery. You need to refresh every delivery to see the updated revenue.

Finally, of course, advertise to us that you have fixed 1,000 bugs.

Not gonna happen in 8 months, I'm sure Devs are still occupied by 20 new "features" that nobody ever asked for.

Maybe they'll resize some trains or appearances, change colors, make a new UI of the gold shop that lags even more, add more animations etc....

And after writing to support you'll get that typical "We have received your suggestion but there is no guarantee whether we will/when we will implement it".

...While the Devs are busy working on 10 more "features" that lags the game even worse and nobody ever proposed.

Well, they are expecting us to say only the good things, not the bad ones (= should go to support).

The map scrolling is better, while the train list scrolling is much worse

and all those new wrong-sized player icons or competition indicators..

but yeah the good things is

when you are already forced to refresh every 3 minutes before the updates

these "new" bugs doesn't matter to you as you are, repeat, already forced to refresh anyway..

    All hail Refresh Nation

The game is generally not crashing in the first 3 era -- but by end of era 3 onwards it starts to happen more and more. I guess it is due to the city connected. Have you ever tried connecting to 30 cities or 40?

I am on PC version and various different new computer that can handle even the latest popular games (Yes -- those "big ones" that are released in past 5 years) yet all of them crash and crash when more cities are connected.

The "Crash" is, the game looks like still running, but when you try to do something (i.e. set schedule, collect bonus) you will realize the game is not responding, and all you can do is to refresh. It's especially annoying since you can't even tell if it crashed or not until you issued a command.

Maybe " Soft Freezing" would better describe it.

And the "every few minutes" is NOT an exaggeration. If I am to file a ticket every time I crashed I would probably create 1000 tickets in a single round (NOT an exaggeration, again).

New colors, new animations ( = new lag) that took me some effort to turn off.

Game still crashes every few minutes.

Now the competition indicators can get ridiculously large in size (like 1/4 your screen) and block everything.

Game still crashes every few minutes.

Scrolling down/up in the train list now becomes significantly slower.

Game still crashes every few minutes.

    What else to add?

No luck. 2 days after the update is installed, all I can notice is the asso widget changed into weird color, research tree becomes extremely laggy that I have to turn it off in the options to bring it back to normal. The game still crashes every 3-10 mins.
